Chicken Salad Chick, a fast-casual restaurant concept, is planning to expand with more eateries in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The company, which already has locations in Destin, Panama City and Tallahassee, is opening more franchise opportunities in Orlando, Gainesville, Jacksonville and Tampa.
The Chicken Salad Chick concept was created in Auburn, Ala., in 2008 in the kitchen of founder, Stacy Brown. With her husband and fellow founder, Kevin Brown, they eventually opened a small takeout restaurant. Today Chicken Salad Chick has 85 franchises in development across the Southeast.
The concept puts an edgy twist on classic chciken salad by offering guests a have it your way chicken salad experience with 15 flavors to choose from, as well as gourmet soups, flavorful side salads and fresh-baked desserts.
