PALM COAST — Mark Wilson, president and CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, will be the guest speaker at next week’s “Think Flagler First” event.
The luncheon, put on by the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce and the Flagler County Department of Economic Opportunity, will be on Oct. 29, 11:45 a.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn at 55 Town Center Blvd. in Palm Coast.
Wilson will offer his perspective on the upcoming elections, legislative priorities and how his organization advocates for businesses statewide.
This will be the first time that a Florida Chamber executive has addressed the Flagler County Chamber event in several years, said Gretchen Smith, the Flagler County Chamber’s director of government affairs.
“Our goal as a chamber is to encourage local (government) officials to take into consideration the business community,” Smith said.
The cost to attend, which includes lunch, is $25 for chamber members and $35 for non-members who register and pay in advance. The cost at the door is $35 for members and $45 for nonmembers. To make a reservation to attend, call 386-437-0106 before Oct. 24.
