Deputies in Flagler County think a large deer had been dangling from a fence all of Sunday night before they got word the animal was in distress.
The deer was found on a fence on Winchester Road near Ormond Beach.
The pictures of the deer are bad, but the animal is expected to recover, officials said.
Deputies found the doe dangling by her right leg from a 6-foot fence.
Her leg did not appear to be broken, officials said.
They secured both legs and covered her eyes and head to reduce stress before freeing the animal.
