PALM COAST — Construction has been approved for The Landings Apartments, a new age-restricted senior complex that will have 73 units in the Town Center at Palm Coast development north of the Target store.

The city recently issued two building permits with an estimated construction value of $7.3 million to build one large, 4-story building and another six permits with a total estimated construction value of $1.5 million for six 2-story carriage houses with garages on the ground floor, according to city records.

The general contractor is CPG Construction and the developer is Palm Breeze Partners Ltd. Both are in Winter Park.

Palm Breeze bought the six acres in August for $700,000 from Florida Landmark Communities, the town center developer and a subsidiary of Palm Coast Holdings.

Palm Breeze will also have to build part of Landing Boulevard south of the roundabout on Central Avenue to provide access to the apartment complex that will be on the west side of Landing Boulevard.
